Maple Neck (fast and smooth), Ash Body,&#160;Serial Number Z8004458</p><p>One Small Chip on Neck at 6th&#160; Fret, other wise in Excellent Condition.</p><p>The guitar was played in a church worship environment. After playing was placed back in case and wiped down, any and all adjustments were done by an authorized Fender repair shop. The guitar will show wear on the pickguard (there were quite a few stickers on it that I completely removed) and 3-4 minimal impressions on the body, one of which will be on the bottom of the headstock but no chips and no buckle rash. Straight neck, minimal fret wear, all original except for the knobs. The guitar will ship in a tweed case (Gator I think) that fits the guitar perfectly. The rest is shown in the photos!&#160;<br /><br />Feel free to ask whatever questions you might have! 		<description><![CDATA[&#160;<br />Three tone Sunburst, Fat 50's pickups. The body and neck were finished in nitro lacquer then relic'd as you can see. &#160;Bone nut and hand polished steel frets. The tone capacitor is a high end metal film 0.1uf cap for a very clean, transparent treble cut. None of the muted muddiness that comes from the standard ceramic disk caps. &#160;Vintage 62'&#160;strat&#160;to spec&#160;- body and neck contours (t’s a '62 "C" shape, .835" thick at the 1st fret and .945" at the 12th.), 21 SS frets (not sure what the heights are), maple neck, rosewood fretboard, clay dot inlays, vintage tuners, 3-ply vintage mint pick-guard, single string tree on headstock etc... This guitar looks killer and plays amazing! &#160;The pics don't do it justice!<br />This guitar was built in 2010 by a luthier who use to work for Fender's Custom Shop line. He is now retired but over the years stock piled a number of CS necks, bodies, hardware, etc. and only pumps out a few guitars a year. &#160;The craftsmanship on this thing is phenomenal. &#160;All parts are licensed Fender CS. &#160;With the Fender Fat 50 pickups it definitely has a vintage tone. 		<description><![CDATA[Looking for the Brown sound ? &#160;&#62;&#62;&#62; &#160;EVH " Frankenstein " pickup is loaded at bridge position, touted as the same pickup that comes installed in the 25K Frankie axe. &#160;( This setup sounds fantastic and the guitar plays like butter ) All factory original parts come with this EVH style Stratocaster, Professionally set up with EVH .009 - .042 strings, This is a 2004 Strat Special HSS with a Floyd Rose Locking Tremelo ( great set up, hardly ever goes out of tune, dive bomb all day long you'll be surprised )..<br />EVH Drop D, D-Tuna installed, American Special Series, Alder Body, Maple Neck with Modern C Shape, Rosewood Fingerboard, 22 medium jumbo frets ( some very minor fret wear to be expected, i do not believe the frets have ever been dressed yet )&#160;1.650" or 42mm nut width, Fender Gotoh vintage style tuning machines, Floyd Rose original double locking 2-Point Tremelo, 2-American strat single coil pickups; neck and middle and one Fender humbucking pickup at bridge position.&#160;<br />Original MSRP was $ 1,484.99 in 2001 when these were produced; this one is a 2004, Fender produced these from 2001 to 2005.&#160;&#160;Note : There are two factory original " wood stain " blems in the neck stain near the nut as seen in both photos. Note the grain under the missing stain ( Clear polyurethane finish is smooth over both of these areas as this is a staining issue and in no way affects the sound or playability as you cant feel these areas as they are smooth &#160;) I could hardly notice these two areas visually but had to obviously mention...<br />Comes delivered in a SKB heavy duty flight case, will not compress like the original fender factory light cases; &#160;( I will try to find the key for the lock on the case prior to the end of the auction, not having the key does not affect the ability of the clip to lock closed that has the key receiver ) probably can get directly from SKB pretty easily, I just never had pursued it. &#160;<br />Free shipping within the United States, overseas shipments to be determined per location.
