Description: 1997 Fender Jimi Hendrix Tribute Stratocaster finished in Olympic White.
Cosmetic Condition: Excellent condition overall - like new!with the exception of 2 small scuffs on the back of the guitar that are into the clearcoat. pictures of the 2 scuffs up above
Issues: The original Jimi Hendrix tribute logo decal on the pickguard has been removed.
Weight: 7 lbs 15.5 oz.
Neck: Special shape, one-piece maple neck with 7.5" radius. Maple fingerboard & 21 vintage frets with no fret wear. 1.65" nut width. Large late-60s-style headstock, classic Fender/Schaller "F" tuners.
Body: Contoured Alder body. 25.5" scale length. Chrome hardware with original synchronized tremolo bridge.
Pickups: 3 Staggered-pole Vintage Single-Coils with 3-way switching. Bridge - 5.62K ohms. Middle - 5.58K ohms. Neck - 5.49K ohms. Dual tone & single volume controls.
Set Up: Professionally set up by A luthier & strung with brand new Ernie Ball .10-.46 gauge Slinkys.
Playability / Sound: Nice, low action; plays great up & down the neck. If you're looking for that signature Hendrix sound, this is the guitar!

Historical Info: In honor of the guitar-wielding legend, Fender Musical Instruments and Experience Hendrix, LLC (the family of Jimi Hendrix) have released the Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster. "Modeled after the same Strat that Jimi played at his historic performance at the Woodstock Music Festival of August 1969, the instrument is bound to delight generations of guitar players and music history enthusiasts for years and years," noted Jack Shelton, senior vice president of sales at Fender. The icing on the cake is the pickup configuration - three reverse staggered vintage Stratocaster pickups that are positioned perfectly for boning up on Jimi Hendrix classics such as "Wild Thing," "Purple Haze" or even "The Star Spangled Banner."
