Hey All,
This is a 2009 Fender American Standard Stratocaster. It's black with a maple fretboard. I installed a complete set of Seymour Duncan SSL-1 (50s voiced) pickups and rewired with genuine cloth wire. I will include the original stock pickups in the auction. I set the bridge flush against the body and I could not string the guitar without removing the back plate (due to the rear of the bridge no longer aligning with the slot in the cover plate) so I redrilled and moved the cover plate forward slightly (see pic 5 and 6). The neck is straight, the frets are in very nice shape. There is some scuffing on the body and I have included a picture of the heaviest spot which is behind the bridge slightly (see pic 9). The strat sounds great and plays well. I have found that I much prefer a vintage-style instrument to this modern strat, there's nothing wrong with it but I just want a more vintage look and feel. This guitar comes with a hardshell case, owner's manual, truss rod adjustment wrench, tremelo arm and spring, polish cloth and strap.
