Up for auction is on an extremely rare and highly collectable, Fullerton first year production of a 1982 USA made Fender Stratocaster ’57 RI finished in a Tobacco Sunburst with a Maple neck, Skunk Stripe.

This fantastic guitar was made at Fender Fullerton plant using the exact tooling as the original 1957 Stratocaster, and only producing only 4-7 per day. The body shape on these guitars is deeper with longer body contour with the exact precision as the original guitars and where all hand made.

The body is clean and in excellent shape with the usual wear as expected from a 28 year old guitar adding character to this collectable piece. The neck is straight with the back being nice and smooth. The front of the neck has a relic look with the appearance of a real 1957 Strat with a wonderful feel to it, just like the real thing.

This beautiful guitar did have a 5 way switch but the original 3 way switch has now been installed. Also included in this listing is the Original Fender Tweed Case as pictured.

The sound of this Vintage guitar is awesome, with plenty of substance and the tonal quality is FANTASIC!!! Better than any Custom Shop Strat you will find on the market place.

We all know that the Fullerton years where the best Fender produced in quality, and now these guitars have become highly collectable as they keep skyrocketing in price - Who knows what this guitar will be worth in another year's time...!!!
