Here we have a guitar so fine tuned and accurate to the original 57’ design that you can’t help but feel transported back in time to the genesis of Leo Fender’s perfect patent.  Masterbuilt means master built, and in this case, by Mark Kendrick, who’s made Custom Shop guitars for Sting, Keith Richards, and even a special custom one-off gold Strat for Eric Clapton.  Let me stress this – you will never, ever, want to put this thing down.  Its 50’s tone will resonate with the eminence of blues masters that came and went and quite possibly bring you to tears with its perfect sound.  It has an ash body design, chunky V maple neck, and lacquered in a stunning Desert Sand finish. 

Your friends will hate you for this, but that’s real friendship isn’t it; one upping one another?  It’s really difficult to wrap your head around the sound, but that’s the price you pay when one master builder constructs your instrument from start to finish – Kendrick clearly had the owner’s complete satisfaction in mind.  So I obtained this guitar and really hope someone who truly appreciates the work put into making one of these relics can rock out some serious tone.  If you do not want to feel the blues in the wrong way then I suggest picking this one up and letting your fingers reassure you that your money was well spent.
