This guitar is a real beauty and is loaded with features found on the most expensive American Strats at a
fraction of the cost. This guitar features the Fender Custom Shop and Seymour Duncan Pickups. This guitar is very similar to the Fender David Gilmour Black Strat Signature guitar at a fraction of the price. This guitar has been setup in our 920D Custom Shop and plays like a dream.

Seymour Duncan SSL-5 Custom Bridge Pickup

Though it looks like the SSL-1 and has that distinct vintage tone, the
SSL-5's over-wound coil yields higher output, more sustain and great
harmonics. The result is a pickup that rocks hard and cuts through the
mix, but cleans up nicely when you back off the volume. Includes white
cover.

Fender Custom Shop '69 Middle Pickup

The "Summer of Love" doesn't have to end- the '69 Strat pickups have
the tone you'll fall in love with. Own the tone that defined an era.
For a short period in the late 60's, Fender used a height staggered
Alnico 5's and a special grey bobbin which produced clear, transparent
highs and thumping lows. Each pickup is created, dated, and initialed
by Abigail Ybarra who has been winding pickups for Fender since the
late 50's.

Fender Custom Shop Fat '50s Neck Pickup

The Custom Shop Fat '50s. These calibrated pickups are constructed with
hand beveled, staggered, Alnico 5 magnets and Formvar wire on the
coils. The Fat '50s deliver enhanced bass response without the harsh
mid-range.

 
Fender Locking Tuners

Chrome finish Fender Locking Tuners provide solid tuning stability by clamping the cut end of the string with a hand-tightened lock screw.  There is no play in the string and you tune normally.  

Custom Setup by 920D Custom Shop

This guitar has been meticulously setup by our technicians to ensure ease of playing and the best possible sound.  The neck and bridge are fully adjusted and the guitar is checked for fit and finish. The electronics have been installed using genuine Fender/CTS parts.
