This is a Mexican made Candy Apple Red Stratocaster.Mexican-made and American-made Stratocasters are made in specific colors. The strictly Mexican-made colors are: Arctic White, Midnight Wine, Lake Placid Blue and Candy Apple Red. The strictly American-made colors are: Sienna Sunburst, Candy Cola, Charcoal Frost Metallic, Olympic White and Blizzard Pearl. I purchased this Strat new in 2006 and used it for only one home recording session.I would play it from time to time for something different than acoustic. It has great action and good sound. It is labeled "Special Edition" The guitar comes with the Fender Gig Bag (shown in the pictures) This was purchased from Pittsburgh Guitars, our local quality, dependable gig store.
The finish is very nice with no visible scratches A hot looking guitar .It sounds great. No known issues.From a Non-Smoking house. Please ask questions if you have them.
