Fender Strat

Up for auction is a 2003-2004 MIM Fender Stratocaster. Wonderful shape...It was purchased as a back up guitar and has been used very little, although it does sound just a good as my others strats. I have since bought another Telecaster, so my old "main" guitar is now a "back up" guitar, so this one has to go. I replaced the stock pickguard with a tortoise shell one, and I still have the original pickguard still with plastic on it from Fender. I will include it with the guitar. This guitar is set up for 12's and I normally kept it tuned down a half step, although 10s play fine on it as it is currently set up. Nails that SRV and Hendrix tone perfectly if you do your part. All electronics work pefectly. Neck is straight, and it comes from a non-smoking home. Sorry, but no case. I will pack it to survive UPS, and I will try to find a gig bag laying around to throw in with it, but no promises. Not looking for any joy rides here, so no bullcrap. If you don't intend on paying, don't bid. Please ask all questions before placing a bid. This guitar is a worthy investment and way better than any current Mexican Strat.  I wanted to add that the body on this guitar has individually routed cavities for the pickups and not the cheaper "swimming pool" styles you see even on newer American guitars. The swimming pool style of cutting pickup cavities is a measure that is taken to cut costs. Also, I have been getting questions about this...it is a right handed guitar, not a left.
