The Stratocaster entered a wildly creative new decade in 1960 offering custom colors never before introduced. This Custom Shop Surf Green 1960 Stratocaster Relic is a detailed recreation of its Kennedy-era ancestor, inside and out! Built to the exact same specs as the original 1960 Fender Stratocaster, using original materials, tooling, and techniques. She's brand new and looks brand new, just like it was 1960 all over again! This guitar is a spotless, shinning example of Fender's fine workmanship and an awesome reminder of what made the 1960 Stratocaster the most popular guitar on the planet!

Authentic details include a lightweight Alder body, early '60s "C" shape Maple neck with a slab laminated Rosewood fingerboard, clay dot markers, white three ply pickguard, and a thin Surf Green nitro-cellulose lacquer finish, just like Jeff's. 7.25" RADIUS/1.65" NUT WIDTH/VINTAGE STYLE FRETS/VINTAGE STRATOCASTER BRIDGE ASSEMBLY/ CUSTOM 60'S SINGLE COIL STRAT PICKUPS/3-POSITION BLADE SWITCH/NICKEL/CHROME HARDWARE/FENDER GOTOH VINTAGE STYLE TUNING MACHINES/CONTROLS: MASTER VOLUME, TONE 1, TONE 2. The pickup design is accurate to the original, as far as materials and windings, producing a characteristically smooth, glassy tone. The bridge has just enough bite to let the strings ring through while distorted without getting too muddy or muffled and the mid and neck pups provide a wide array of clean and natural tones. She screams Hendrix/SRV with great harmonics and overtones, powerful, punchy and sweet too!
