Fender Strat

You are looking at a Fender American Standard Strat with a Sienna Sunburst finish. I bought this guitar used a few months back for a project I've been working on, but am now focusing on metal and no longer need it.

There are several things that are different from stock on this guitar. Pickups in the neck and middle are Fender Custom Shop 54s, and the bridge features a high output Dimarzio X2N. I chose this configuration because I don't love the typical bridge Strat sound and wanted something that could rock or do leads well. The neck and middle pickups give out the sweetest Strat tones you'll ever hear, and with the ash body, feature a great amount of "pop" to the tone. I have also changed the pots configuration. Each knob is a volume control for each pickup. I did this so I could 1) have more control over which tones I have distorted, allowing better control over my amp, and 2) use the bridge pickup with a 500k pot rather than the standard 250k on most Strats. This gives the bridge pickup a bit more bite and sounds simply awesome. Everything is reversible, and should you request a SSS configuration or the standard volume and tone controls found on most Strats, I can do that at no additional charge or delay; just tell me how you'd like to have it if you're the winning bidder.

Cosmetically, this Strat definitely isn't perfect. It has several dings on the body and a few scratches (mostly by the bridge where your picking hand rests). It was this way when I got it, and while I would rather it be perfect, I do like knowing my guitar has a bit of character to it! Basically, look at the pictures and decide for yourself; I tried to give as much detail on the guitar as I could. If there's something specific you'd like to see that you can't in the photos - though I do think I got everything very well - just let me know and I'll do my best. As for playability and sound, this guitar is awesome. Very good action, not too much fret wear, and excellent tone; it will not disappoint.
