Fender Strat

Well here is a rare find as these are getting hard to find.  This is a GORGEOUS 1989 USA Fender Stratocaster PLUS finished in Classic Black w/Rosewood fret board.  An absolutely beautiful 21 year old USA Fender Strat.  This guitar is in excellent condition with the exception of a small edge chip at the TBX knob and only very minor surface swirls and a little minor buckle rash on the back side.  Nothing out of the ordinary for a 21 year old gem and none of which has compromised the playability of this baby.  The neck is nice, straight and true and is in excellent shape with just normal fret wear from play…and she plays great!  This baby is equipped with a “Blue Lace Sensor” pickup at the bridge and 2 “Silver Lace Sensor” pickups in the middle and at the neck position.  When I plugged her in for a test ride I instantly noticed the “low noise”, high output and incredible response and sustain the Blue Lace Sensor pickup had.  This pickup features slightly increased output with the warmer 50’s humbucking sound in a single coil configuration.  It really is distinctive!  The Silver Lace Sensors had an entirely different sound all their own, with crisp top end and bell-like tones.  These Lace Sensor pickups utilize technology, invented by Don Lace, to provide a superlative tone while eliminating annoying 60-cycle hum.  This beautiful ’89 also has the Fender factory “HipShot TremSetter” installed.  The HipShot TremSetter is essential and crucial to live performances in the unfortunate event that a string breaks.  The patented HipShot TremSetter automatically adjusts the tension when a string breaks and keeps this guitar in tune!  This is a fantastic asset to Stratocasters PLUS guitars that have this option.  The patented Lace Micro Matrix Combs replace traditional bobbins, yielding wider tonal range and better string balance than traditional pickups.  This guitar is truly special and comes with the original 1989 Fender embossed case, original tremolo arm, case key and factory literature.  Buy this guitar as a tremendous investment opportunity and as a GREAT classic playing USA made Fender Stratocaster PLUS!  I DO NOT sell guitars that I wouldn’t collect or play myself.  A terrific investment and an awesome looking, sounding and playing guitar.  More pictures are available upon request.
