Fender Strat

Up for No Reserve auction is a 60's contour Fender Stratocaster in Agave Blue - CUSTOMIZED with many upgrades. This was my project but I have too many guitars and it's time to sell this one.  FREE hard Case with Buy-It-Now.  I lowered the BIN, but sorry folks... I can't go lower than $550. which is what I spent on parts.  If it doesn't sell, I'll keep it.  Also, I can't include the case free with Buy it Now.  But $60 extra will get you the case.  This is an awesome guitar for $550. 

• Authentic Fender Stratocaster Body in Agave Blue (MIM) 9/10 condition. There are two small finish cracks (see pic #12) from the corner of the neck pocket and a very small paint chip under the neck pocket. No scratches or dings anywhere on body's original Fender factory finish. Don't know the year. 


• Distressed Mighty Mite rock hard Canadian Maple "soft C" neck with rosewood fingerboard. Finished with Stew-Mac / Stewart-MacDonald Nitrocellulous Laquer. This is a big improvement in quality, playability and comfort over the original MIM neck.  Also added custom 1960's Fender Statocaster spagetti logo waterslide decal under the laquer (see pic #7.)


• Brand new Sperzel Locking Tuners


• Graph-Tech String Saver nut (now called Black Tusq) and two (2) String Saver string trees


• Brand new Callaham parts are the vintage Fender style tremolo including trem arm, Sustain Block (BIG Tone!), and numbered stainless steel 1950's style Neck Plate.  Callaham is making the best vintage spec replacement parts out there. They are not cheap and worth every penny. 


• Mint Green Pickguard and matching trem cavity cover with stainless screws.


• Fender Noiseless pickups in Neck and Middle.  GFS Lil Killer Rails humbucker in the bridge.

Excellent quality replacement parts make this a great guitar.  Better than a Fender you can buy for under $1200.  This guitar has low action and no buzzing.  Electronics are all working. 

The case is not included in the auction but if you need one, I can ship the guitar in the case for an extra $60.
