Fender Strat

A rare 2000 American Deluxe Fender FAT Stratocaster in
absolutely great nick. A few scratches here and there but in great players condition. Beautiful Transparent Crimson Red Finish over
what I believe is an Ash Body (please look at the photos to confirm as it may be alder, but I'm pretty sure its ash). This guitar includes a few upgrades but all original parts are all included:

UPGRADES

A new bone nut has been installed (for improved tone)
however the original LSR Roller Bearing Nut is included.  

The guitar has been installed with Kinman noisless pickups. These are simply the best stratocaster pickups you can get on the market and they are absolutely noiseless too.

The neck and middle pickups are from the kinman blues set (AVn-62):

Details: 

(aged tone) Slightly fatter with increased response 6 K-ohms; Resonance
3.8KHz; Inductance 2.45 H; Medium output.

The aged vintage tone (less aggression) of this set is great
for crunchy blues solos, full on distortion or clean soft, delicate passages in jazz since the attack and trebles
have slightly less prominence than my Traditional or Woodstock sets.
The Blues set has thicker tone so when overdriven gives creamy distortion without mud.
Positions 2 and 4 sounds are acceptable in comparison to stock single
coils. Under heavy attack
this set break into crunch easily which makes it great for Blues.
This is not the most powerful set I make, in fact it has the same
output as the NEW Traditional Mk-II set, but it just seems to hit the
spot with so many modern Blues players, making it one of my most
popular products.

The bridge pickup is from the Kinman woodstock set (aVn-69b)

This pickup is made especially for the bridge position with a specially tuned magnet
stagger of my unique low strength Alnico-5 magnets. The 'A' pole is compensated
differently to the neck position version so as to reduce that excessive
high midrange 'clang' from the 5th string. And although it is the same
as the neck pickup it does not suffer from it's close proximity to the
bridge in that it manages to still sound meaty and full with only a tolerable
volume drop that is easily compensated for by pickup adjustment. Players
are telling us that the 69b is THE BEST Alnico bridge pickup they have
heard.

I
think Jimi would have approved of this one and even the anal purists will
embrace it. You get all the best characteristics that define the fattest
and choicest sounding contemporary Strat pickups ever but without 60Hz
hum and string crash (rattle and buzz). And because it packs such a wallop
it is also ideal for Surf or melodic instrumental. It took years
to perfect this model so I am personally very excited by this pickup.
Oh, and it won't loose too many highs when overdriven and it won't
break into distortion too easily....it has to be really driven into distortion.

The pickups are installed in kinmans k-9 harness which allows increased pickup combinations for greater versatility:

The K9 Harness
provides the utmost sonic versatility. 

The K9 harness provides all 5 normal Strat sounds plus 4 new dimension
sounds. The 6th, 7th and 8th sounds are variations of the distinctive
Knopfler-esque quack sound while the 9th sound is in Gibson humbucker
territory and provide xtra output (if wanted) for natural crunch
sounds. These are selected with the lower Push/Push pot. Popping the
knob out with the pickup selector switch in position 2 re-connects the
Bridge & Middle from parallel into series*, for boost in output and
instant humbuckerish crunch: and also *that* plus the neck pickup in
parallel for fat hollow Knopfler-esque sounds. 

A unique additional feature is the
internal slide switch where you can select either of 2 tone caps, my
High Definition Tone control, or a regular tone control if you want
normal extreme treble cut. Another unique feature is the pots and K9
control are user replaceable without soldering (in the event one needs
to be replaced).

The pickups in the k9 Harness are worth over $500 AUD on their own. They are expensive highly desirable pickups and they sound a million dollars. I am selling this guitar because i now play semi hollow bodies only and don't think it is right for this guitar to sit at home unused.
