Fender Strat

This listing is an auction style listing with a very reasonable reserve for what could be regarded as an up-and-coming collectible Fender Stratocaster, made in Japan and equipped with its original Floyd Rose bridge.  The first letter of the serial number, the letter "C," indicates the guitar was manufactured between 1985 and 1986,  at the FujiGen Gakki guitar manufacturing plant.  This particular style Japanese Stratocaster seems to be offered for sale with decreasing frequency; you are looking at a very nice original example, finished in an attractive candy apple red.

All the familiar Stratocaster tones are available in this instrument which is equipped with the 5-way pick-up selector switch.  Additionally, if you are looking for "metal" tones in an easy playing and expertly crafted Strat, this one is equipped with a Seymour Duncan stacked humbucker at the bridge.  All in all, this is an extremely versatile player.  This guitar comes with original Gotoh tuning machines, a three-ply pickguard, three spring tremolo, and a maple neck with rosewood fingerboard.  This is a very handsome guitar with very few finish defects, especially for a twenty-five year old guitar.  Although I tried, I could not get a good picture of a touched-up ding about 1" long approximately 4" from the bottom strap button toward the treble side.  That's about the only real finish damage aside from some very slight dings - no scratches, no buckle rash.  This is an honest nine out of ten guitar, all there except for missing switch tip.

Finally and most obviously, the most desirable feature on this Strat is its German made Schaller Bridge, manufactured under license from the Floyd Rose patented locking tremolo bridge.  Bombs away.

The guitar will arrive to the winning bidder in a very serviceable, plush lined, Hamer hard shell case.  I am again offering free shipping on this guitar; I would like to think this might help out a little, if times are as tough for you as they are for me.  Again, the reserve I've set is quite reasonable for a pretty rare guitar in very good condition, a guitar that will surely be a keeper for someone who needs a very playable, reliable, quality instrument.  I hope you will take a look at my other auctions for two more distinctive MIJ Strats.
