Fender Strat

 Up for auction is my 1997 Fender Special Mexican Strat.   Alder body with an amazing finish that I've never seen on another Fender.  Not sure what they call it but it's like a candy apple red with a subtle transparent burst on the front.  ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!!!  Two single coils, and a humbucker with a coil splitter switch.  They produce a wide range of beautiful tones.  The volume and tone controls are very responsive.  Maple neck with rosewood fretboard, with clay dots.  Five position pickup selecter.  Vintage style trem.  The only thing that is not original is the white tip on the trem arm (I will include a new black tip which I have ordered and is on it's way).Only minor fret wear.  Old style waffle tuners with butterbean knobs.  A bit of figuring in the neck and headstock.  Spaghetti logo.  Neck is straight.  Three ply black pickguard.  Only one minor ding on the back which you really have to look for, and a few very minor scratches.  No case but I pack extremely well.    I honestly think you would have a hard time finding a nicer Mexican strat.   I am pricing it to sell!  All sales are final unless item has been misrepresented.   PLEASE do not PLAY if you can not PAY!!!  FREE SHIPPING  WITH BUY-IT-NOW ONLY!!!  Otherwise, shipping will be actual cost, which will be determined at the end of the auction.
