  2009 Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton "Blackie" Stratocaster

Up for auction is a 2009 Fender Custom Shop Eric Clapton Artist Series Stratocaster.  These guitars sell for $3,800 new in the major music stores and are on backorder until March 2011.

The guitar comes with the original COA and all the case candy.  It was
recently set up and plays absolutely beautifully. 

The guitar was only played a handful of times and is in near mint condition (9.5 out of 10).  There is no wear at
all on the neck or frets.  The only issues I could find on close inspection are one incredibly tiny finish ding on the back top, impossible to photo and about 1mm in length (almost impossible to see except on close examination); and a very small mark on the pickguard near the bottom tone knob (new ones are between $15.00 and $30.00).  The pictures do not do the guitar justice.  It just shines.
