1975 Fender Stratocaster...Hardtail Strat

• A bit of a rarity, a mid 70's ash body, maple neck hardtail Strat (9lbs 13oz). Good condition, playing wear on the fretboard and back of the neck, some wear on the body. A couple of scuffs on the side of the body, possibly from rubbing against the inside of the case. Frets are average, showing signs of wear, will likely need a fret dress at some time, but playable as is.

• The nut has been replaced with a brass one. The neck pickup has been replaced, the bridge and middle pickups appear to be original although the shade of the gray of the bases are slightly different. The selector switch is a replacement position. The pots appear to be original, dated the 39th week of 1974. The tone pot for the middle pickup has a loose shaft, the pot itself is firmly attached to the pickguard. Since it's original it is being left as-is. Some of the wiring is not stock, along with the neck pickup the lead from the ground to the bridge has been spliced and other wiring appears to have been changed also.

   

• The guitar comes with a case that appears to be original. The logo is missing but the mounting rivets are present. The handle has been repaired with tape and the latches, while they work, aren't in the best shape. It is currently functional though.
