RARE 1970 Fender Stratocaster with original case
This is a very rare offering of an original 1970 Fender Stratocaster with original hard case. Guitar features original sunburst finish, original gray bottom staggered pole pickups, original
trem and trem arm, original bridge saddles, original F tuners, original decal, pickguard, etc. Neck is dated (very faintly but can be seen DEC 70B). Also includes original hard case, bridge cover,etc. Has the brass nut ...an addition commonly found on instruments from this era which can easily be replaced as desired...

Q. Has it been refretted?
A. It has not been refretted. Critical information such as modification to the fingerboard would seem to me to be important enough to disclose in the description. Fortunately the death penalty for
lack of such disclosure has never been approved or there would be , what, maybe one or two remaining vintage instrument dealers? This one is a straight and true "keeper" . Fingerboard shows no signs of having been sanded or planed and is still factory thickness.
