1957 FENDER STRATOCASTER REAL MARY KAY SUPER RARE !!!.........Yes this is the real deal blonde with gold hardware ash body mary kay strat from 1957 and YES it does have the gold plated truss rod nut. This guitar has some issues but is still probley the coolest strat you could ever own. Some of the original screws are missing. The gold hardware is very worn. The neck is 100% original finish but has a bigger refret and plays fantastic. The body finish was painted over but that is mostly all stripped off to the original blonde finish and has a very cool worn look that matches the rest of the guitar perfect. The electronics and plastic are all original.

The body is ash and is original blonde. It was painted over but most of the non original paint was removed down to a very thin coat of white over the blonde. Then that last coat of white overspray has been carefully removed in alot of places so you can see the original finish.I did not try to completly remove all the white overspray because I know there are people out there that I am sure are more quailfied to remove the last overspray and I did not want to risk removing too much and end up with a splotchy finish and there is enough original finish showing to call it a real blonde and it looks great just as it is. The neck neck pocket did not have any overspray and shows the original blonde .I left the edges pretty much alone when I got down the the last white coat because of the same reason I stopped on the front. The pickup routes and control cavity was stripped of most paint when I got it. The trem cavity was also stipped of most paint but still has the original date of 4/57 .Body has no extra holes or repairs and the whole guitar weighes 8 lbs 8 ozs.

The neck is all original finish with no overspray. Decal is original with no overspray. Neck has no extra holes and the finish is worn to have the perfect vintage played look. The refret is a wider but not too tall fret and they are in very good condition. The tuners are original gold plated except for the Low E tuner which is not gold plated but looks like a very good match to the other tuners. ferrals are original gold plated.

The pickguard assembly is all original except the pickguard did have some sheilding paint on the back but that is all removed now. The pickups , pots and switch is 100% original and work perfect. All plastic isoriginal and has a great vintage worn look that matches the rest of the guitar perfect.

The Hardware. The bridge is all original less arm . The neck plate , jack cup and strap pegs are also all original and have the look of very worn gold hardware...The guitar comes in a new case and I prefer it picked up in person but If you wanted it could be shipped. I have tons of pics if you are interested.
