Fender Strat

For sale is one Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Stratocaster in sonic blue. It is american made with a build year of 2006. I purchased it brand new from Sam Ash.com in 2007. I really don't play it that much, so it's time to thin the herd. It is in immaculate condition with no repairs, breaks, or cracks and very little wear. It has a straight neck with nice meaty frets that have very little wear. There is minor pick swirls on the pickguard. There are no cosmetic issues to speak of and all the electronics work as they should with no scratchy pots. I will include the back plate and tremelo bar as well. There are a couple mods to mention: I replaced the bridge pickup with a Dimarzio Fast Track 2; as a result, I will be including in the auction the original pickup as well as the 250k volume pot that was in it. I had the original volume pot replaced with a 500k push/pull pot that made it have a little more bite in the bridge position. There is also a Donald Duck waterslide decal that is on the headstock; don't worry, it'll come off with a warm wash cloth as it is not under the lacquer. I thought it added to the Yngwie vibe is all. I am including a non-original hard shell case that is in fine working order with no issues.
