Fender Strat

L 0XXXX series-5 digit serial number, Refretted-frets still in very good shape as I only played it hard for about 3 years; body refinished natural- buckle marks still showing on back, marked 8/63 in red under tremelo springs; neck not refinished-stamped June '63, era correct 3 patent decal, no "contour body" decal- I don' think it ever had one, truss rod frozen but neck is as straight as an arrow with most any gauge strings- I have mostly used 12-52 sets; non original saddles, non original tremelo bar, missing one spring for tremelo, individual toggles for each pickup- original 3 way not available, Schaller pegs-original not available, original brown case with orange interior in fair to good shape- 2X2 inch spot missing from tolex on cover, one of the latches does not spring up, hinges intact and opens and closes as it should, some fraying on leather. There is a foil insulator under pick guard which greatly reduced hum from lights when I was playing out- easily removed. I have owned this guitar for over 34 years and I have a postmarked receipt. It was magic the first time I played it and it still is. I am not willing to take this guitar all apart to give pot numbers and show the date stamp on the neck- please don't ask. I am truly hoping that whoever buys this outstanding guitar will come and pick it up but I will ship to the Continental US only.
