- 1984 - 1987 Fender Stratocaster E series E698509 ( Made in Japan ) , Kahler Vibrato system w/ Roland GK-2A pickup system , TL Black Sperzel tuning keys, EMG pick-ups. This guitar plays like a dream and sounds great.
- Fender Stratocaster is loaded with featured upgrades.
- Fender website http://www.fender.com/support/japanese_instruments.php puts this guitar serial number 1984 - 1987.
- I removed the locking nut system on the headstock so the two little screw holes are still there. ( see pictures) in the head stock. I added the TL Black Sperzel tuning keys that really work great. Frets have the usual wear for a guitar this old (original frets), Set up med/low action.
- There is a road rash on the top right side of the headstock about 3 inches long that shapes the edge of headstock on the tip of the right side. ( see pictures ) A few small dings here and there.
- The Roland GK2 works great with any Roland or Axon Guitar synth & MIDI systems.
- The Kahler Vibrato works really really really great and will be missed. Bought used 22 years ago "stock" then added upgrades mentioned.
- Comes in used stock "Fender" stamped molded guitar case.
- If your hip into Roland/GK/32 pin using a Roland or Axion boxes & or computer rigs & etc this guitar will treat you right. With 32 pin / MIDI your groov'n into some way cool stuff into guitar synth and guitar processor playing . Tracks great on the usual Roland or Axon synth & processor units.
- Let us not forget the EMG pick-ups that really pop that "strat" sound out of an amp. I have been using the same MFG string ( Elixir ) for the last 5 years. Of course you can put on whatever you wish
