Fender Strat

This Fender Stratocaster is a one-of-a-kind beauty. It’s a “made in Japan” model from the early 90’s, but it was upgraded, professionally by a Guitar Center tech, with a Floyd Rose Original trem (the good one), a Seymour Duncan “Cool Rails” neck pickup and a coil-tap! Aside from the candy apple red, the ebony fretboard (which is really black rosewood in this case) offsets the color to make it even more eye-catching. In a minor upgrade, I added ebony/marble-like chrome knobs (but I can switch them out for the original “classic” knobs by request).

It’s close to perfect but there is one small blem near the plug (see pics), a quarter inch hairline crack in the clearcoat at the neck joint, and two small (so small the camera can’t quite catch them) chip/scratches (the most noticeable about a sixteenth of an inch) on the front as well. Some people may care about these and some may not. I just like to do the full-disclosure thing.

As far as the rest, she plays great with low action, tip-top electronics and no issues. I had a professional setup done about a year ago and it’s only been played randomly since…which is one of the reasons I’m selling it. The other reasons are that I simply have too many and could use the extra cash.
