Fender Strat

Fender Made in Japan, ST-75.  The coolest strat / tele with modern refinements.

Sure, we all have a strat or a tele.  But if you have to have one guitar why not have one guitat that covers both?  This is a rare strat, in a classic black color.  Even the pickguard is like a Tele Deluxe.  The heel is contoured for better access of the upper frets.  The comfort carve for your strumming arm is accentuated (tried to show in pics).  I wish they'd do this more on Strats / Teles made on this side of the ocean.  You all have heard that Japan makes instruments that even rival the Amer Custom Shop.  Every MIJ or CIJ instrument I've played has been excellent and this is no exception.

The neck is a thicker C shape like a '61.  The frets seem to be average height, like a medium but I am no expert.

You will be hard pressed to find anything beyond a polish mark or a few stray pick marks on the pickguard.  I haven't played this more that 2 hours.  Again, I have more gear than time and trying to do something about it.

You will not be dissapointed.  Just google Fender ST-75.  You'll see some good discussions on this rare and great playing Strat (that is kindof a Tele).
