Rare 1997 Lone Star American made Fender Lake Placid Blue Stratocaster in good + condition, two chips in paint (pictured). Somewhere along the line some IDIOT put a Custom Shop decal on the back of the head and sanded off the serial number, I remove the decal. Whoever did it stamped the serial number on the back of the neck under the neck pocket which matches my receipt and the receipt he showed me from the person he purchased it from, who was the original owner. It was the only smart thing they did, who would think of looking there if the guitar wound up stolen? Comes loaded with Seymour Duncan factory wired humbuckers, Texas special in middle and neck, straight as an arrow micro adjusting Rosewood neck, twenty two frets with no fret issues, tremolo arm with chrome tip, five way switch, steel tapered tremolo block, not cheap pot medal, for better action and tone, 3 ply Pearloid pickguard and tremolo cover, sealed fender tuners, strap locks, neck wrench and Fender gig bag. I removed the pickguard to make sure nothing was messed with, everything looked 100% original. The original owner removed the tremolo cover; I replaced it with a Fender made Pearloid trem cover. It fit the screw holes perfectly so there are no extra holes in the body. Check out the reviews on this guitar you wouldn’t be disappointed. These are no longer offered by Fender, It's sure to become a classic some day.
This Lonestar was made in the Corona California Factory not Mexico. No Paypal!
I don’t have the hard case, but they are easy to find for around $30 to $60 used.
