Fender Strat

Fender Squier Japan E series strat with system 1 tremelo system, locking nut, replacement gold pickguard ( I had to bevel the guard a little to fit around the tremelo) with gold screws, gold input jack,  gold schaller locking strap buttons (will include strap with gold locks) and good condition HSC. Trem back cover plate is a replacement. Lock screws and nuts are replacements, fine tuners were retapped 6/32 on the D, G, and B  6/32 and replaced. The trem bar is also a replacement. Trem bar input was drilled out to accept a Floyd Rose style bar.

I bought this guitar off ebay about a year ago and did the repairs, setup, and cosmetic upgrades to turn it into a great player (these E series Japan guitars are very high quality on par with US strats IMO). The only difference I can find between the Japan E series standard strat and the Squier is the decal on the headstock. Word is getting out on the quality of these guitars and soon they will be costing as much as 25 year old US Fenders. When I calculate what I spent on the case, gold upgrades, replacement tuners, and trem bar I know that I won't get what I have spent doing these upgrades. I  am only selling this E series because I have 2 others and I am short a few hundred to buy an Anderson strat I want. Now you could find a Japan E series Squier on ebay for less money but more than likely it will look plain and have a thing or two to fix and not be setup buzz free with a great action like this one. The System one tremelo's frequently have fine tuners that are stripped and need tapped and replaced and the trem bars are frequently missing. They are not available as an aftermarket bar and the originals fetch a pretty penny on ebay. So if this doesn't sell then I will just keep it in the rotation and wait until it's doubled in value as these axes are going to do.

 The Dakota red (I think that's the correct name for the color but I don't know for sure - it's certainly red l! ) body is already turning into a natural relic and looks killer with the gold anodized pickguards and hardwear. The pickup covers are turning that aged mellow yellow color and look great with the maple neck. Frets are in good shape, neck is straight, all electronics work as they should. Plays like a dream and sounds killer. Has a few minor dings and dents as expected for a 25 year old axe but it just adds to the mojo. Paypal only to confirmed address. Continental US only.
