Strats are some of the kings of guitars. Hendrix used one,
and soon, so can you! This is the best kind of Strat there is-an American
custom.
It uses a Fender pickup, so you’ll get a really treble-y
sound. This is a blues and rock guitar. There are actually 2 pickups that
change with a switch, so you get a really versatile guitar that can also get a
really fat sound. There’re also 5 settings within each pickup for variations of
rhythm and lead.
You get 2 tone controls, so you can fine-tune the tone of
this guitar. I’ve used a jazz tone similar to the Fender Jazzmaster, a rock
tone that coupled with a wa-wa peddle sounds like Hendrix, and a
low-down-and-dirty blues sound that sounds a bit like B.B. King. That’s just
how supple this guitar is.
There’s an adjustable trust rod. I’ve set it to 10-gauge and
no higher. If you want heavier strings, you can adjust it to tolerate up to
14-guage strings.
This guitar is candy red like a Ferrari (a comment I’ve
actually gotten) and looks really nice with its tremolo (also called a whammy
bar), which is included! I’ve used this in gigs, rehearsals, and recordings for
5 years and gotten great comments each and every time. People just love the
sound.
I take excellent care of my instruments. There is no warping
of the wood. There is one little knick on the lower part of the body of the
guitar, but you can only see it if you look really close, and you can’t see it
from the front. If you really wanted, you could paint over it and it would look
fine. Think of it as a battle scar from a seasoned guitar.
This is a very special guitar to me; it’s my first guitar
and it’s what I learned to play on. I took good care of it and spent a lot of
time on it. Its name is Leanne, after Leo Fender. I hope you love this guitar
as much as I do.
