Heres a cool custom built stratocaster relic. A lot of the parts are real vintage relics. Bridge is a real 57/62 US relic. The body is a real relic. I have no idea of the age but its a 2-piece center seem alder body with nitro finish. It has vintage routing with worm route. Might be a JV body but not sure. The cavities have been opened up a bit and has copper sheilding. The pickups are tex-mex with US pots and switch. Neck is a allparts 50's style, 7-1/4 radius, vintage frets, healthy C shape with tinted nitro and correct decal. Jack and string tree are old, real vintage (unknown years) . Rest of the parts have been aged to perfection for a very real look. Much more realistic than the cheesy road worn models. Plays great, sounds great and looks like a real , well played vintage should. Comes with a old ( unknown year) fender case, blue int and one bad latch but a good relic match for the guitar.
This auction will have a reserve that nobody likes but don't let it discourage you from bidding. Its a very reasonable reserve for the time and work that went in to this guitar and the parts alone are worth more than the reserve. Even if the reserve isn't met I just might let it go to the highest bidder.
