Fender has faithfully recreated one of the great Fender guitars from one of the
most wildly creative years in popular music. This Custom Shop, Closet Classic (NOS) "Time Machine" series creation is an exact reproduction of the original, made using the
same tools and techniques, and precisely duplicating the original specs right down to
the nitrocellulose lacquer finish, large headstock
with the '66 logo style, and even the original wing string tree. The
66 Fender STRAT NOS sports vintage tuners, F
neck plate, and the "C" neck shape of the period -(7 1/4 radius)- Even the pickups are
exact duplicates of the '66 version. Select alder body, maple neck w/
rosewood fretboard.
This Classic Ax has been given the "New Old Stock" (NOS)
treatment—built as if bought new in its respective model year and just
found today. - Complete with COA , case Candy & original period correct "'66" case, The Candy Apple Red Finish was a "one shot"produced only in 2007 in extremely low numbers & is near impossible to find - never gigged so the term "Closet Classic" truly applies here - UNPLAYED!!! NO WEAR!!! Looks the same as the day it left the Factory. This Guitar is not for mere Mortals, only a Guitar God is deserving of this work of Art.
