DESCRIPTION:

Although
the guitar is in excellent condition for a used guitar, my guess is
that this guitar is older and was made before Washburn started
putting the Buzz Feiton tuning system on their mid level better
guitars such as the Idol line. For example I have a probably little
newer circa 2000 Washburn Idol that is equivalent in level to this
FAT Strat style guitar in this listing. The newer Idol has the Buzz
Feiton tuning system on it.

  a Stephens Extended Cutaway less expensive variant design of the

  design is found on the Washburn “Big Dollar” U.S.A.
  Custom Shop guitars such as the N6 Nuno Bettencourt Signature Custom

• This
  “heelless” neck/cutaway design allows easy access for
  high register playing and solos.
  

  
  

• Matching
  red lined like new hard shell tweed case.
  

  
  

I bought
this HM or Fat Stratocaster style Washburn used a few years ago and
found it to be an excellent player of high quality workmanship for a
mid priced guitar. It's certainly far better than a MIM Fender
Stratocaster and equal to or better in quality of mid priced American
made guitars IMHO. My guess is that the guitar was made in either
Japan or Korea due to the higher quality as there are no markings on
it.

CONDITION:

• Cosmetics
  – The guitar is in excellent condition for a used guitar and
  the case is LIKE NEW. I'm going to say it has some very minor
  scratches and dings, although I can't find any really. By stating
  this, nobody can say I misrepresented the guitar's cosmetic
  condition.

  
  

• Frets
  – The frets are in excellent condition.
  

  
  

• Tuning
  Keys – Factory
  stock high ratio Grover tuners.

  
  

• Neck
  & Nut – The neck is a fast, smooth, very playable
  neck in good condition. The nut is in good condition as well. (see
