Fender Strat

Fender Standard Stratocaster, made in Mexico, serial #MZ7... in Chrome Red.  I think it looks exactly like Candy Apple Red, but this is what Fender listed the finish as for this year.  It is completely stock with the standard three single coil pickup configuration and switching.  I've peaked under the pick guard and it does have the "swimming pool" route that I believe all MIM standard series Fenders have.  The guitar is near mint.  It has no dings, no finish chips, no real fretwear to speak of, and no buckle rash.  I got it from someone locally who apparently never played it. It's seen a few practices, but no heavy use. Of the several Strats I've had, this one has been my favorite, but I'm in need of funds. Otherwise, I'd keep it just because. It is currently strung with DR 11's, which I have filed the nut for, but the truss rod could still be tweaked to lower the action. Comes with the Squier hardshell case pictured.
