Fender Strat

This is a 2009 Fender Heavy Relic 1957 Stratocaster Masterbuilt by Mark Kendrick.  Certificate of Authenticity date is 07/30/09. The serial # is R48864.  The model is a 57 Stratocaster Relic.  The guitar weighs in at a very light 6 pounds 12 oz. Beautiful and very rare Dessert Sand Finish.  It has a 1957 Soft V Quarter Sawn Neck, 9.5 radius on the fingerboard with 6015 frets.  It is extremely easy to play with the chunky V maple neck making it a joy to play without fatigue. It has an ash body design. It is hard to describe all the attention to details such as the relic finish or the way the neck feels as if it's been played for half a century.  Everything on this guitar is well done. It's so finetuned and accurate to the original 57' that you feel as if your playing a the real thing. It is masterbuilt by Mark Kendrick, who has made Custom Shop guitars for Sting, KeithRichards and Eric Clapton.  I can't express how great of a guitar this is. The tone is so beautiful. It has that super nice chime like bells with a 5 way switch.  I've only owned it for about four months and it has only been played in a smoke free home studio. Unfortunately I have to sell it for financial reasons.  The case and everything picturedcomes with the guitar, documents etc. The starting price is considerably less then what I recently purchased it for brand new and unplayed.
