Fender Strat

 Up for sale is a 1996 MIM Stratocaster that I have owned from 2001.  I have had the guitar for 10 years and in the 10 years I have owned it I have spent a lot of money upgrading it.  First upgrade was a Fender Black Pickgaurd, then the Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the Bridge.  I later added Fender Custom Shop Texas Specials in the middle and neck.  The Volume and Tone configuration is stock.  I have also added Graph Tech saddles and Black strap locks.  It is a very nice looking guitar, I had wanted it to look like SRV's Number One and sound the same or better.  The Texas Specials are a great sounding pickup and they are great for recording a nice clean electric sound.  The Seymour Duncan Hot Rails is a perfect companion to the 2 Texas Specials that are in the neck and middle, the Hot Rails can scream with a good distortion or it can give you a nice overdrive sound, crystal clear and you still get the 3 single coil look.  There is obviously some minor cosmetic wear on the guitar as it is over 15 years old, one nick on the upper bottom corner as shown in the picture.  But as a whole this guitar is in great shape, the body is immaculate, with the exception of the above mention nick, there is some really nice wood grain on the back and the front really polishes up nice!  This is a MIM Strat with upgrades that make the guitar, a stellar looking and sounding Strat for a good price with a free hard shell case.  Guitar looks and sounds good but I need to upgrade.  I will be shipping the guitar in a teardrop hard shell case.
