BIGGER PICS BELOW:

Warmoth Made in USA, exotic Canarywood Strat Neck with Bubinga Fretboard. Canary wood needs no finish so you are set to play. Canary is kind of between maple and mahogany, and more beautiful than both. Bubinga is a type of rosewood with a sound and feel between brazilian rosewood and ebony. Rickenbacker guitars and basses have Bubinga fretboards. With these two exotic woods being used, I expect this neck to give a tone that is more solid and rich than a regular maple+rosewood strat neck, like tighter bigger lows with more focused shimmering highs. The bubinga matches the deep red/brown streaks of the canary perfectly. Also has a matching Bubinga rear "skunk stripe" on back to complete the fine look. I never got around to using this neck, having too many other projects and not enough time or money to complete them all. Comes in original warmoth box with warmoth headstock decal and bumpersticker included.

A rare aspect of this neck is that it's an exotic wood made with their "Vintage Modern" construction, a combination which they dont make anymore. The Vintage Modern means it has a vintage truss rod for best true strat tone and weight. Now you can only get exotics like canary in their "Warmoth Pro" construction, which have their extra heavy steel dual truss bars added, which kills tone by deadening the natural wood resonance of the neck, and increases weight making the guitar neck heavy, so I never liked the "warmoth pro" construction because of those reasons, and many share that opinion, so to have canary with a vintage truss is very special and not able to be ordered anymore.

SPECS: 59 roundback neck shape. (was $35 extra). Custom neck radius of 10.5" (was $35 extra) for deep bends without fretting out. 6105 frets. 22 frets. Nut width is 1+5/8". Has white side dots but no front dots, will install front dots for free if winner buys the dots ($10-15). Tuner holes drilled for schaller fender style tuners, others may fit too. I loose fitted some schaller tuners on it to do the screw layout so those fit perfect. You can get those in both locking and non locking.

WARMOTH WOOD DESCRIPTIONS:

CANARY WOOD: More properly called Arariba. What we've had of this wood is primarily a yellow color with deep red streaking. Not as dense as maple, but smooth and fast feeling with great lows! You can apply a finish or play it raw!

BUBINGA WOOD: Fine grained and super smooth, Bubinga has long been a favorite of the discriminating ears of the famous. Used by companies such as Rickenbacker for fretboards and Warwick for bodies. Bubinga is also a very stiff wood adding strength and stability to its list of assets. This is one formidable tonewood!
