Fender Strat

Up for bids is a very rare Vintage 80's Fender Stratocaster USA Lefty with Hardshell Case. This one dates from between 1988/89 and is in absolutely incredible condition for its age. The body is in just amazing shape with no flaws to speak of, just very light playwear that needs to be held in the right light to be seen. The "micro tune" neck is straight, beautiful and moderately played with a light patina beginning to form on the frets. The tuners all work well but the 1st E string tuner is a little stiff. All the control pots, pickups, switch and jack function quietly and flawlessly. The lower pot is a stacked tone control, I believe this is what Fender calls a "TBX" tone control. There are straplocks installed and the tremolo bar is missing but other than that she looks complete and all original. No cracks, breaks or repairs. Honestly, someone familiar with a lefty guitar should double-check the setup, I am a righty and could not really give it as thorough a test as I am accustomed to. The case is in very good condition and I believe it to be original to the guitar, however, two of the latches broke off (they are included in the case). The case still closes solidly with the 2 remaining latches and could be easily repaired. Don’t miss out! This is a rare find and bidding starts at $749 w/ No Reserve!
