Fender Strat

Fender Stratocaster. Made in Japan. Serial number indicates 1995-1996. I am uncertain of the body, could be either Basswood or Alder. Weight of the guitar according to the bathroom scale is 7.8lbs. Neck shape appears to be a Standard "C" but feels slightly fatter than other MIM Standard Strats I own. I took shots of the the inside cavity and neck pocket for you. Frets are in very good shape; slight wear on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd frets, very minor anywhere else. Neck is straight with no issues.

I believe everything to be original with the following add'l notes about this guitar.

1) The tuners were definitely changed at some point in it's life before I owned it. As you can see by the picture of the rear headstock, there are screw holes where previous tuner anchors were held. I do not know if the 'kluson style' split shaft tuners on it now were original or not. There are no brand markings on them. The screw holes have been filled and touched up with amber lacquer.

2) I DO NOT have the whammy bar.

3) The case I am including is a generic hard shell that has had some road wear. It has a 3-1/2" crack in the PVC as I've shown in the pic. Other than that it is structurally sound and clean. I do not have any keys for the case.
