Here is a very special guitar that I have recently assembled
from parts in my studio closet. The custom body finish is so beautiful and
unique that it is really hard to let this Strat go. You won’t be disappointed
with this unique and special guitar, especially at this price. Below are the
specs.

Body: Fender Custom Shop Contemporary model (circa 89-98)
with a sculpted heel. Alder wood, professionally refinished in Swimming Pool
Bottom Blue that has faded to a beautiful and unique Aqua Blue.

Condition: near mint finish with some minor routing inside
and extra pickguard screw holes. (Photos of the body have been edited to
attempt to represent the color more realistically, but the photos just do not
do this guitar justice.)

Neck: 2002 Fender American Standard maple neck with 22
medium jumbo frets, a 9.5 inch radius, glossy finish and a chunky feel.

Condition: Frets show some wear, but they should last for years
before they will need leveling. (Note that my photo is of the first three frets
where there is the most wear.) There are three small imperfections on the neck,
one small scratch behind the fifth fret on the lower side of the back of the
neck that cannot be felt during play and two small bumps at the top edge of the
headstock. (The photo actually makes the bumps look worse than they are.) The
neck is straight and the truss rod works fine.

Hardware: New Fender Deluxe Tremolo Bridge with whammy bar.
New Chrome jack plate, new Deluxe Chrome neck plate, new chrome Fender screws,
new chrome strap buttons and Fender Standard chrome tuners in like new
condition.

Custom Pickguard: Deluxe Three-ply Pearloid Pickguard and
matching back plate in excellent condition, loaded with two Custom Shop Fender
Texas Special single coils and a Seymour Duncan JB humbucker with a five-way
switch.

New TBX tone system at the second tone position.

Condition: The electronics are original to the body, but all
the switches and pots work like new.
