Fender Strat

1994 John Page era Custom shop one off "Hard Tail" Fender Stratocaster with matching painted headstock ($400 up charge from Fender) and case . The guitar weighs only 7.3 lbs which feels perfect to me.  My friend was a builder at the Fender Corona custom shop in the 90's and Built this guitar in fenders "Golden Era" of building the good stuff. Plays beautifully, feels great and sounds like a Stratocaster should sound. I just had it setup by my friend who did the setups for the Fender Custom shop for 15 years and now does all the factory setups for Suhr.  Fender would allow Custom shop builders (back in the good "old" days of the 1990's)  to build one guitar for themselves a year, this was the guitar he built himself in the year 1994. There was no COA because they ( the builders) didn't need one, considering they built the guitars for their own use there was no doubt about its authenticity. I have a crazy audio/studio obsession that has eclipsed my guitar needs so sadly i must let this guitar go ( and i know........... i will regret it) . There is some finish checking in the nitro cellulose lacquer which is
normal for a 17 year old guitar ( i like the checking in a nitro cell
finish personally) and there are a few dings here and there which i
tried to capture in the photos as clearly as possible (tough to do on a whiteish guitar) . Frets are flawless. Neck is great "c" profile, and
has subtle flame all the way up the neck getting a little flameyer as it goes to the headstock , neck plays smooth and no dead spots .... very lively sound coming from this guitar both body and neck.  I have many more pictures of this guitar but i am limited to 12 here.
