All-original 1978 Fender Stratocaster. Collector grade.  Tremelo model.  Has an S9xxxxx serial number, but I've checked out the pots & pickups, and it's a 1978.  Color is a dark/translucent reddish color that looks really good under the lights.  I think Peter Frampton played one like this back in the late 1970s.  Anyway, it's a great, guitar that you could collect, but still play and enjoy as an investment.  Comes with the original case, case candy, strap, etc. as pictured.  Only things to mention are the very slight amount of play wear on the fretboard around the first few frets (frets are still in great shape), a few playing scratches on the pick guard and on the back, and a few  very small  dings.  Otherwise, excellent condition.  Weighs 9 pounds and 15 ounces according to my digital scale.

 There are no big, heavy scratches in the guitar finish.  What appears as a long line on the surface in some of the pics is only reflection, and not a scratch.  The finish is excellent.
