This instrument is an original.

Serial number is 24586. Its dated 2 -17- 68 on the bridge pickup. Now here s the breakdown of the neck date. According to the Vintage Guitars Info website. The neck date code is 22 22 018 B . This is the earliest Ive ever sen this code used, and when deciphered it means 22 is the model number for strat neck, It was batch 22. 01 was the month which is January, 8 is the year code which means this is a 1968. And B means this neck has a 1 5/8 " neck width.

The pots are dated 68 and they all match, cloth wired, original switch, original knobs,grey bottom pickups, saddles say FENDER then PAT PEND, tuners all work fine, frets never changed, still very playable, just a little even wear down the line.

NO dings on the back of the neck . All pearl side makers and dots are intact. No mangled parts, or damage (beyond normal wear). Buckle rash and chips in the paint. Some wear down to the the wood in some places, a few dents here and there, its to be expected.

I am religious about my guitars and I know what I have here, I also have recently sold another very valuable guitar to a very well known dealer, and my feedback shows I deliver when it comes to top dollar items!
