The Strat Pro is the Fender® Custom Shop platform to design new guitars with custom and/or modern features that strat players will appreciate. For starters, our neck shape is an extremely comfortable mid-60's oval "C" while the fingerboard has a 12" radius for modern bends and action. 2011 Custom Shop Strat Pro models will be designated by "Pro Model 1107" written on the back of the headstock.

The Pickups - (Seymour Duncan JB Jr.™) This twin coil design pickup gives you the character of the popular JB™ model humbucker in a single-coil size. Its adjustable pole pieces more closely emulate the magnetic field of a full size humbucker and allow you to fine tune the balance of your strings. You can expect great harmonics and a sweet high-end.

(Seymour Duncan Five-Two™ SSL-52) Alnico 2 magnets provide warmth and softer attack on the three high strings. Alnico 5 magnets provide punch and brightness on the low strings. It's like having two separate presence controls: one optimized for the high strings and one for the low strings. The result is a very balanced pickup with a bright and springy bottom end, and a smooth and rich top end.
