Fender Strat

1999 FENDER GMW MODIFIED STRATOCASTER

This is a 1999 Fender Strat that Lee Garver @ GMW Guitars modified. What's been done you ask?? The Strat was stripped and a Duncan Screamin' Demon with a push/pull volume control to split the humbucker added to the bridge with 2 higher powered single coils. A 5 position Megaswitch added wired regular Strat style only mid position now is the 2 outside pickups for that Tele sound. The crappy tin original bridge was tossed in the trash and replaced with a steel block 2 point trem then locking Sperzel's added so this stays in tune very well. Frets were milled and dressed and a bone nut replacing the plastic one (also tossed in the trash next to the crappy original trem!). Matching upgraded custom Perloid pickguard and trem spring cover added makes for one nice Strat in a now discontinued color! MIM outfitted with above USA parts and custom shop detail (those that know GMW would say BETTER than Fender's Custom Shop!). Best Strat MIM or USA you will ever play and those that have bought from me know I don't BS. From my personal collection that has just become too large so I had GMW do a slightly different Strat and this one will be a great addition to your collection!
