1987 Fender Japan '62 Reissue Stratocaster, NITRO!

A high-end Fender Japan domestic market model ST62-85 built at the Fuji Gen Gakki factory. Neck dated 3-31-87. Serial number E742XXX. The finish is nitrocellulose. Factory installed USA Vintage pickups with vintage cloth covered wire. Beautiful select ALDER two-piece center-matched body. The neck joint is precise with a perfectly tight fit. The tremolo block is STEEL, not diecast. Acoustically resonant, weighs 7 lbs 14 oz. The original 3-way switch has been changed to a 5-way switch (DM-50). The ''PICKUP MADE IN USA'' sticker is still on the pickguard. Comes with the original hang tag. Excellent condition for a 20 year old guitar. The frets show almost no wear. Small dings on the back of the body and the lower horn and a few light scratches here and there. Comes shipped in a Fender Japan gig-bag.
