Fender Strat

            You are looking at a very nice 1979 Fender Stratocaster with the large headstock. It has only been taken apart once and it is all original down to the last screw. It has 78 pickups and pots and body, with a 79 neck. All numbers match, pick guard, headstock and original hang tag booklet. It has a very straight neck and plays and sounds excellent. Does have a little fret wear on the first 3 frets which does not affect playability at all. The body is in excellent condition, it has 1 very small ding on front(shown in photo) and a couple little dings and 1 tiny paint chip on the bottom corner(shown in photo), has a few belt buckle scratches on the back that are very minor and will not show in photo, back cover also has some light scratches, the pickguard does have some pick scratches. From a couple feet away the guitar looks new. The body still maintains a very nice shine and looks beautiful. The guitar comes with the original case candy, including case key, tools, Fender strap, Fender cord, bridge cover, polishing cloth, and original hang tag booklet. Comes in the original hard shell case. I would give the guitar a 9 out of 10 rating. To find a guitar in better condition than this one it would have to come out of a new unopened box.  This is a great player, excellent collectors piece, and a good investment.
