Purchased from the original owner, this 1996 (#N6175634) Fender U.S. Standard Stratocaster is in very fine condition. The pickguard has been changed to a mirrored guard and it looks super! It was originally a three single-coil Strat. The owner made the change to the lead Seymour Duncan Hot zebra pickup. He said the pickup cavity was not routed, but that it was one large rout from the factory, so it only required wiring and the new pickguard. The guitar didn't have a backplate when we got it, so we put on a backplate off a right-handed one since we didn't have a left-handed one in stock. Only two of the holes line up so we left the other screws out. You can easily drill this plate to fit or get the lefty one (should be around $10 to $15). Not showing much wear for a 15-year-old guitar, just the slight normal wear in the first three frets under the "B" and "G" strings. No belt-buckle rash or picking marks on the face. The body back and sides are nearly perfect. Includes the original Fender Red Badge hardshell with two hangtags.
