1989 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster Strat Electric Guitar Pewter

Item Description

This guitar is a pre-owned Fender Eric Clapton signature Stratocaster with a pewter finish, made in 1989. Features on the Eric Clapton Stratocaster are an alder body, soft "V" shaped maple neck, 9.5" fretboard radius, 1.650" nut width, 25.5" scale length and vintage synchronized tremolo. The electronics on this Eric Clapton Stratocaster are three Lace Sensor Gold pickups, a 5-way pickup selector, and the second tone is the Fender TBX tone control which is excellent for fattening up your tone during solos or leads.

This Clapton Strat is in great condition for its age, and it does not look like it has seen very much play time over the years. There are some surface scratches around the back of the body, though the plastic covering is still on the back plate, and some very small lacquer chips around some fret edges, though nothing rough to the touch. There is one small ding on the back of the neck that does not affect playability. The guitar plays wonderfully thanks to the soft "V" shape neck and 9.5" radius, and the Lace Sensor Gold pickups pump out classic '50s bell-like Strat tone.
