Fender Strat

You are bidding on a custom built, professionally assembled Fender Stratocaster guitar in the likeness of a very famous celebrity owned instrument.  I wanted to do a JG "Alligator" tribute strat for a while and my friend was also happens to build for a living, did this one up for me.  To be honest, it has sat around ever since he finished it and I have way too many Strats.  I cant justify holding on to yet another one with the holidays on the way!  Here is the breakdown of what you will be getting with this guitar.

• Body is a thin skin nitro finished Warmoth vintage Stratocaster style, ASH with beautiful grain pattern throughout.


• Neck is a Fender 50s RI Strat (MIM 2010-11) with zero wear.  A brass nut was cut and installed in place of the plastic, vintage style tuners. Comfortable C shape, 9.5" Radius, Med/Jumbo Frets.


• Bridge is a hardtail, top loading Schaller full brass, nickel plated unit, fully adjustable, that has been mounted on a custom cut piece of tone wood (see pic of bridge)  This guitar does have a trem claw installed as well as a set of 5 Vintage Raw Trem springs.  Even though they are not hooked up to the bridge or a block, they still add to the resonance of the instrument.


• Electronics are all high end components.  Pickups are cloth wired Fender CS 57/62 set, vintage voiced for the correct "Alligator" bite!  CTS pots, CRL USA 5-way switch, Switchcraft jack.  All cloth pushback wiring, NOS ceramic disc capacitor for authentic tone.


• Brand New plush lined Hard Case included.


• "Alligator" repo stickers as would have been seen on ol' JG's axe!


• Guitar weighs in at 7.5 lbs.


• As a bonus I will also include at no extra charge a copy of the Europe 72 Double album remastered CD!!!

This guitar is bright and snappy, very "Europe 72", compliments of the all the brass the strings are touching.  These pickups are very nicely voiced and I think can really come very close the sound I had in mind when the idea of this build came about.  Please send me any questions you may have and check my feedback, I am an honest ebay member of 10 years.
