Fender Strat

1988 early issue (first issued in '82) Made in USA '62 Vintage reissue Fender Stratocaster in rare "Seafoam Green" finish with original tweed hardshell case, instruction manual, often lost "ashtray" (bridge cover) and case keys. Just back from a pro setup with a fresh set of strings and it sounds and plays great with excellent action. HIGHLY resonant guitar that is a pleasure to play both plugged and unplugged! Weighs a comfortable 7.9 lbs. on a digital scale.  Guitar has nicks, scratches, dings, edgewear (no wear to the wood except by the neckplate--although there is also a nick to the wood on the top) and some checking, all of which add to the vintage vibe. Small splits by a few of the srew holes on the pickguard.  Some fretwear on the lower frets as expected for a played 22-year old guitar but PLENTY of fretwire left.  The prior owner had replaced the neck pickup and 2 of 3 pots but I recently obtained the replaced pickup and pots.  I just had the pots reinstalled (coded 137-28--)=1988 and also the neck pickup which was just sent out to be rewound by Kent Armstrong.  Shielding inside the pickguard removed, which is now the only non-original component of the guitar. Original hardshell case has some wear but is solid with all latches working and nice interior.  A great deal on a rare early 1962 vintage reissue Strat in Seafoam Green!  Buy it now!!! Payment due within one week of the end of auction. My guitars are packed well with multiple layers of heavy duty bubble wrap using boxes purchased from Uline that are designated specifically for guitar packing and shipping.  EBAY now requires that sellers specify a handling time. I DO take my items to my shippers within 2 business of receiving payment but the item does not always ship out the same day I drop it off as they are very busy and there can be complications that delay shipping.  For payments made with e-check will wait for payment to consolidate in bank before shipping. Please bid only if you are certain you will be able to pay for this item and do so within 1 week. Local pickup is OK but item must be paid for within one week and picked up within 1 weeks of payment unless other arrangements are made prior to end of listing.  I am not offering this item on a trial basis.  However, if the item is found not to be as described item may be returned by buyer if contacted within 3 days of receiving item.  Refund will be given after item has been returned and found to be in the same condition as when shipped to buyer.  Buyer responsible for return shipping.  No shipping to P.O. or S.P.O. boxes. International shipping rates are 100 dollars to Canada, 300 dollars to Europe/UK (no shipping to Russia) and 500 dollars to /Japan/Australia (no shipping to Asia except for Japan, and no shipping to Oceania except for Australia. My overseas international shipping on older instruments in this price range is done only through UPS, which usually gets the item to its destination in less than a week. ).  I will not use any other shipping method so please do not ask.
