This was purchased New as a collector's item, and has been professionally set-up and then kept in it's case since 2006. ALL of the factory applied protective plastic is intact, including the stickers on the pickguard, rear tremolo cover, and even has protective film still on the 60th Anniversary medallion on the tip of the headstock! A total time-capsule Strat that plays as good as it looks! The body has a mile-deep Chrome Red finish. This is literally an awe inspiring finish!
It's a nice and light example and feels great with it's nicely contoured body and factory "rolled" fretboard edges. Nice dark rosewood fretboard, Frets are perfect, neck is straight. Overall fit, finish, etc. is super on this guitar, and condition is as shown. While I resist using the word "perfect" it is as nice as a brand new one as it technically is a brand new one! INCLUDES the original Fender American Standard hardshell molded case with EVERY hang tag, label, warranty info booklet, owners manual, etc that came with the guitar in 2006. Heck even the tremolo arm is still sealer in its original plastic baggie and unused. Even has a new Fender Strap as part of the case candy.
Well on its way to becoming a classic, this is probably one of the last remaining "as-new" 60th Anniversary 2006 American Strats left, in the best color offered! Buy it now for less than you'd pay for a new one, and have something that's not often seen...in a color that is no longer offered on the American Series without going through the Custom Shop or an Artist Signature model.
