Amazing Detailed Replica of a 1957 USA Fender Stratocaster!

I have customized many of these Road Worn guitars for customers that want a more vintage look and feel, which is why I started the Time Warp Series. 

This TW57 started with an incredibly light weight (7 lbs 2 oz) 2009 Fender Stratocaster Road Worn 57 Reissue, and was taken to a whole new level.  Fender does a very nice job, but they don't add checking to the Nitro finish or realistic ware, which I do.  There's now an exceptional amount of checking to the finish that makes it look as good or better than the original or Custom Shop model, but won't cost you 20 grand. 

To add to the illusion, the original headstock decal, which is under the finish, was also aged to look like it is above the finish, just like the original, and the original serial number was removed from the headstock and is stamped into the heel of the neck. The neck is straight and true and the 6105 (narrow jumbo) size frets show no ware. The neckplate has a repro 1957 serial number.

The pickguard is an original 1990s USA Fender Vintage 57 Reissue with the aluminium control plate, and looks more like an original early 50s guard than what comes on the Road Worn.  The electronics were totally upgraded, including a Switchcraft output jack, USA Custom Shop Texas Specials, and the top of the line 450G CTS 250k pots that allow for better control over volume and tone, with less noise.  They're wired so you can control the tone on the bridge pickup, as well as the middle and neck.

This TW57 is absolutely amazing, and is one of the best I've built to date.  It plays fast and smooth, with deep, moody tones and looks and like a pre-CBS Strat, but won't cost over 20k.  You'll have that coveted vintage Strat you always wanted, and can still afford to play it out.  And when you do, everyone is going to swear it's an original.

There's no reason to go out and buy a Custom Shop model for 3 times the price.  You get everything you want for a fraction of the cost, and it's a Fender, not made of licensed parts. 

The guitar was created to look vintage and there are no breaks or repairs.  It's as solid as the day it left the factory.  It just looks, sounds and plays better now.  It comes complete with a tweed case, as well as the  case candy, registration card, tremolo arm and the box the Texas Special's came in.
